Cervical and Breast Cancer Clinic
At Pardis Medical Center, cervical cancer screening is performed using Pap smears. Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but with the help of Pap smears, it can be detected and treated in its early stages.
It is recommended that all married women start undergoing Pap smears regularly from the age of 18 to 70, every three years. The interval between the first and second Pap smears is one year.
For those under the age of 18, if they have begun sexual activity, screening (early detection) should begin within a maximum of three years after marriage.
This department is covered by all health insurance plans.
